We also offer some properties in the form of co-ownership. This allows for the ownership and use of a high-quality holiday property, with all costs shared among the co-owners.
With co-ownership, you acquire a share of the land and the fully furnished villa without having to bear all the costs when not using the villa. This is particularly advantageous for holiday properties, which often stand empty for months. You purchase shares for the weeks in which you want to use the villa in the long term each year. In the remaining weeks, the villa is at the disposal of the co-owners.
You have the choice to use the villa e.g. only in the high season, only in the low season or of course at any other time of the year. In the low season, the price is lower than in the high season. If the days have not yet been sold, you can buy as many more days or weeks as you like and book them for an indefinite period of time (first come first serve).
The villa is fully furnished and can be equipped with personal items such as your own bed linen, towels and wardrobe if you wish. After your stay, the villa will be cleaned by the housekeeper and your personal belongings and e.g. sports equipment will be kept safe until your next stay if you wish. For example, arrival is only possible with hand luggage. In order not to be dependent on an expensive rental car, a car is also planned for the co-owners. The co-owners can choose an administrator - but this is not mandatory.
Co-ownership is a cost-efficient and stress-free alternative to sole ownership, in which you acquire a share in the land and house without compromise, comparable to an ownership share, and thus benefit not only from the emotional bond but also from possible increases in value. Having your own holiday home offers familiarity and connection to a special place.
Capital investment, ancillary costs and risk are significantly lower compared to sole ownership. In addition, co-ownership offers the opportunity to spread the investment over several locations or countries and to share the houses with family and friends. Due to the location and popularity of Mallorca, it is basically a very good investment.
The acquisition model in the form of co-ownership has been offered in the USA for many years and, in addition to car sharing and co-working, is also finding more and more supporters in Europe. Co-ownership is not to be confused with timeshare, where only a right of use is acquired and no co-ownership.
